Rich variety of DA approaches applied in social media research: A systematic scoping review – new article

A new research paper was published in Discourse & Communication by Réka Tamássy and Zsuzsanna Géring. 

In the article Tamássy and Géring analyse research projects that apply discourse analysis approaches on social media content. The researchers focused on the methodological and theoretical frameworks of the reviewed publications, finding that the use of discourse analysis is the most prevalent as a pure methodology and as a complex methodological and theoretical framework. In their article, they also present the most popular methodological steps among the reviewed research projects and the geographical distribution of the corpus.
